On Thursday January 12, Greeley West’s FFA attended the annual National Western Stock Show in Denver.

This year’s stock show consisted of a rodeo, a petting zoo, and booths providing information on agriculture. Senior, Chase Russell, said,  “It was a great experience.”  Russell said that throughout his four years in FFA, this this year’s stock show was definitely the best.

“I would definitely recommend it to anybody who hasn’t gone,” Russell said.

FFA sponsor, Mr. Kelly Longacre, said “This year was the smoothest show we’ve had.  We had no problems overall and it was a good show.”

“Last year’s stock show the weather was bad and most of the kids didn’t get to see the petting zoo. This year everybody had a good time and enjoyed it,” Longacre addied.
