New schedule in works for next year

As students begin to register for the new school year, there has been a lot of talk about a possible different start time in the fall. While nothing is official yet, it appears the school day will begin at 8 a.m. next year, resulting in students registering for seven classes.

Sophomore Derek West likes the new schedule change idea, saying, “I feel like it will be a great investment because it improves our sleep schedule and improves our learning ability.”

Assistant Principal Ms. Amy Zulauf said, “The district wants the seven-class schedule.” She said the district feels like this later start to the day will be better for the students learning.

Now all students and staff members will wait to see if there is a new schedule next year or not.
