Greeley West’s agriculture program is holding a dinner for agriculture students, their family, and their friends. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 13th. Tickets for adults are ten dollars, kids are seven dollars, and children under 5 are free.

The dinner will be held at the Evans Riverside Library and Cultural Center in Evans. Three different events are being held during the night.

The silent auction kicks off at 5:30 p.m.; the dinner follows at 6, and the live auction is at 7. For dinner, the agriculture program is staying local, making street style tacos with beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and goat meat grown in Weld County. The money raised by the students and the event goes to next year’s agriculture events. The events they are putting the money to are leadership development, professional development, and career exploration so that students can discover the world of agriculture.

future of agriculture depends on not only the education of students but the support from their community to achieve their dreams.” Ms. Samantha Maxwell said.
