On Wednesday, September 13 Fritzler’s Corn Maze had an event where they revealed the design of their 2017 corn maze.  This year, the design revolves around farmers. They have teamed up with Culver’s to raise over a million dollars to support agricultural education programs like FFA.

They chose Culver’s because for 30 years they have served food made with farm-fresh ingredients.

Fritzler’s Corn Maze has been a family-run business since 2000 with their fall activities and pumpkin patch. This year, Fritzler’s Corn Maze has their first official event this Saturday, called Hops N’ Husks Beer Festival.

An upcoming event will be starting September 29 through October 1, is the Hometown Heroes Weekend.  During this weekend, people with military IDs or that are active duty police officers get half off admission.

That is also the same weekend that Greeley West students get most excited because Scream Acres opens.  Sophomore Oscar Perez Luna stated, “I like scary things, so my favorite part was going through the maze and getting scared by all the clowns.”

At the corn maze, you have many different activities that you can do, including the U-pick pumpkins, comical live pig races, paintball busses, pillow jumps, pedal go-carts, pumpkin cannons and more.

Junior Trevor Valenzuela said, “My favorite part is not going through the maze, it is jumping on the gigantic pillows.”

Fritzler’s corn maze is located in LaSalle off Highway 85. Tickets prices vary between $13-$45 depending on ages and activities you may be interested in doing. Bring your friends and family down to manage your way through the maze.
