Students should monitor intake of fast food

We all enjoy getting fast food for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner. Whether you’re enjoying McDonold’s, Wendy’s, or Burger King, fast food is an easy way to get fed without doing the work.

However, people seem to not care about the effects that eating junk food can cause on your body and your mental health. It can cause learning and memory problems as taking in big supplies of fats and sugars effects that part of the brain. Also a loss of appetite and trouble digesting are common.

As a teenager, I have learned that fast food and the diet that you have can affect the way you feel and the way you choose to go about your day. Even though fast food is delicious, it does not do you any good in the long run.

Most teenagers don’t know what they are putting into their body or some don’t care what they are putting into their body. I’m not saying teenagers or people should start a diet, but they should try to eat healthier to help their bodies and their mental health to help with their motivation.
