Throughout this week, Interact Club is doing a coin drive at lunch to end Polio. The drive ends on Friday. You can find students walking around the school with buckets.

For every 60 cents donated, one child can get a vaccine shot.

Next Wednesday, October 12, Interact is hosting “Scare Away Polio Dodgeball Tourney.” This event will be held in the auxiliary gym from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Students can pick their team of up to eight people and they can involve both students and teachers. Each team has to have costumes in a theme.

Each team has to pay a total of 25 dollars in order to join. If you are not interested in being on a team you are also welcomed to come down and watch for the price of three dollars. All of the money will be donated to polio.

Students can sign up now before October 11 with Mrs. Rachel Hammer, located in room 508. You can also find more information about the events through Hammer or Interact President Andrew Wethington.
