Music programs jazzed up after dessert fundraiser

Greeley West band, choir and orchestra had a dessert fundraiser on Saturday November 19 at the Moose Lodge in Greeley to raise money for their trip to Disney World. In order to raise money for their trip to Disney World, they sold entrance tickets and had a silent auction with items donated from each program.
All music departments participated in walking around serving beverages and desserts to the people who attended. There were of 20 different kinds of desserts served. All were homemade by parents, students and staff members, from cupcakes to popcorn and brownies.
The groups that performed were the Spartones, Jazz Band, Orchestra. and Greeley’s Cream of the Crop. Each music department played for 30 minutes and rotated and the ending performance was Greeley’s Cream of the Crop, which played big band favorites.
