Stop being lazy and pick up your trash

Trash left behind at lunch is a problem at Greeley West that can be fixed.

The responsibility of keeping Greeley West clean belongs to everyone not just the custodial staff. Thousands of students approach the kitchen immediately after the lunch bell rings.

After taking their food, they it in the commons to eat and have fun with their friends. The bell rings and students hurry to the next classes without paying attention to the items they left on the tables. The trash that students leave has to be picked up by the campus security, which is totally ridiculous.

Greeley West have clean classrooms, tidy playgrounds, bright gyms, antiseptic dining hall, unpolluted hallways and hygienic restrooms, however, due to the new students enrolled in the school, the school cleanness has gone down. New students are incompetent to catch up with the school environment and thus they are found to leave their trash behind after their meals. In the school, there are trashcans at the end of every row of tables, but no one intends to use it.

Stop being lazy and make sure you pick up after yourself. Remind your friends to do the same. It’s disappointing that you can’t even clean up the place you all like to hang out at. All you need to do is throw your trays away at the designated place. Next time you leave the commons, make sure you already have your mess taken care of so that we focus on more important task around the school rather than cleaning up the food you’re too lazy to dispose of.
