On Monday October 16, after seven long months of waiting, the Red Hot Chili Peppers finally made their Denver appearance.
The Chili Peppers were supposed to perform on March 2 at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Unfortunately, there was a sickness going through the band and lead singer Anthony Kiedis was battling bronchitis on the regular scheduled date.

Mr. Brandon Torrez had bought his tickets and a hotel room in Denver for the March 2 concert that was cancelled, so when the time came for the recent show his excitement levels were high.

Torrez last saw the Chili Peppers in 1989 so he didn’t quite know what to expect since the band had aged, but he explained how cool it was to see how talented the band still was. “Kind of a cool story from the whole experience was the day after the concert my wife and I were walking downtown past the Four Seasons Hotel and there was a big tour bus running out in the front of the hotel,” Torrez said.

“So I thought that it might be the Chili Peppers, so my wife and I go sit and wait and people see my Chili Pepper tee shirt so they sit there too waiting for them to come out. But they never did,” Torrez said.
