Jersey Mike’s deserves applause for commitment to Greeley West
November 30, 2017
It’s a rare occurrence to have local businesses support schools in the community without selling coupons on fundraising cards or making a profit. For the newest addition to the Greeley West neighborhood, Jersey Mikes, we applaud their support of Greeley West High School, even before their doors open.
Jersey Mike’s has distributed 7500 coupons around the community that offer a free regular sub to their clients through December 10th. All the coupon holder has to do to redeem their sub is make a contribution of a minimum of two dollars to Greeley West High School.
We don’t know where Mr. Jeff Cranson will put the money that is donated to the school, but we’re sure he’ll put it to good use given the funding the school has had in the past. The fact a new Greeley business would seek out the opportunity and be willing to join in the education process immediately makes a big impression to the community as a whole.
As a thank you to Jersey Mikes for working on behalf of our school, we think West kids needs to head on down to Jersey Mikes and enjoy their hot and cold sandwiches. While you’re there, say thanks to owners Bob Merullo and Kevin Embree as well as operating partners Pete Cardillo and manager Aaron Johnson who made this happen.
