In a completely unrelated event, there is a leak in the boys’ locker room from the ceiling. No damage has been done to the room itself outside of the water damage in the ceiling.

Water from the upstairs restroom in the 100 hallways is causing this new water problem at West today.  Very little information as to how long it will take to fix it is available, however it has been stated that this has been a reoccurring problem.

Until further notice, the restrooms by the gym will be closed. “Our school is falling apart,” said Denise Tellez, one of the janitors involved with both leaks.

In addition, Tellez said that school administrators have a new timeline on hoping to have the heat back on: Sometime tonight.  Bring your coats and hoodies tomorrow, but know that officials hope that school can continue without them tomorrow.
