Greeley West is a 136.6 million dollar school, but like all new builds, is experiencing some difficulties.
A light in the choir room fell, due to the product not being manufactured correctly or an issue with installation. Now, electricians from Adolf & Peterson and District 6 are checking lights to make sure everything is stays safe.
Jeff Cranson, the school’s Principal said, “I was out of town on Saturday and had received a call because an alarm went off,” Cranson explained.
Cranson said the light had been fixed shortly after it was reported and that no one was injured.
Today electrical crews worked around the school this week, checking every classroom, to make sure every single light is installed and wired correctly.
Cranson explained how the new building is just like a new house. It will have its problems and nothing will be perfect the first time around, and it’s just one thing that needs a slight modification.
