The senior studded team have dominated nearly every game that they won except Mountain View which had to be played out to a best of 5 series where the valiant lady spartans came out on top of the amidst the intense battle.
Captain senior Chelsie Roberts loves the connection between the team and explained that it’s an advantage going into the games. “Making time to connect off the court is allowing us to work better and communicate better so if the team starts falling we know how to fight back,” Roberts said. “Being a family on and off the court is definitely what keeps the team strong because you’re able to understand eachother’s strengths and weaknesses.”
Senior Cadence Ellis shared her excitement and optimism going in to the future games. “I feel like the momentum can roll on forwards with the games ahead,” Ellis said. “ We can’t have our heads up too high, because that can also bite us in the back if we aren’t careful. But I do feel like the season can continue going our way with this form.”
