After several weeks, the octopus has been found! The octopus has returned home safely by hero, Jordyn Birdwell.
Birdwell was able to return the missing octopus home, safe and secure. She got the octopus and secured it in her backpack until it was safe for the octopus to be home.
Elizabeth Dent, the owner of the octopus said “ We thought for sure we knew who took it, turns out we were wrong all along.”
After a lengthy investigation and many fidgety students, the octopus has returned. Dent said, “Jordyn Birdwell, is a hero she was able to find that octopus and secure it.”
Although the octopus has been found, there has been one slight change. Initially, the octopus was suspected to be stolen, due to its obnoxiousness. Upon its return, it no longer squeaks and is just a normal stuffed octopus.
The octopus is still able to be passed around the classroom and is used by many different students. Some clearly missed the octopus more than others.
