The second half of the semester starts next week. Are students in high hopes, or are they starting to feel the pressure? Now seven weeks into school, Greeley West students are falling behind or are in high spirits on things to come. Many of the upcoming tests and assignments usually determine how most students first semester will finish.
Senior Aric Kline was in high spirits about being half way through the first semester. Kline said, “I think this is like the second half and where most people have to either bring their grades up or study for the next coming test. I feel pretty confident in where I am in this semester. I’m not falling behind and I have most of my school work caught up so i feel stress free.”
Some students aren’t all in high hopes for the first semester to be coming to an end. Junior Precious Soto was feeling unsure about how she was feeling about this semester. “I don’t really have a lot of other test coming up, but I’m feeling alright but also pretty stressed out about the upcoming SAT.
I am trying to study practice test to better my scores.”
Soto also said, “But for grades, I have one bad one i’m working on getting up by going to get after school help and staying here to fix it and get that out of the way.”
