The much anticipated Thanksgiving Break is something that Greeley West High School students are excitedly anticipating as the holiday draws near. With tests and papers mounting, the impending break offers students a much-needed chance to decompress, spend time with loved ones, and rejuvenate before the last leg of the semester.
Thanksgiving Break is a chance for many students to unwind and spend time with their loved ones. Students can relax and unwind over the break. Senior Elijah Tellez shared his delight by saying, “I’m excited to spend time with my family and take a well-earned vacation from school. Every Thanksgiving, we always have a large meal and it’s one of my favorite traditions.”
Additionally, students use Thanksgiving break as a critical time to refuel and concentrate on their academic objectives. Numerous students want to use the opportunity to complete unfinished projects, prepare for impending tests, or catch up on missed tasks. Senior Jaxten Leonetti stressed the need to make the most of the break by saying, “I’m excited for some downtime, but I also have a lot of schoolwork to catch up on.”
