Some people know what they want to do with their life after high school. Kail Perez is one of those people and he has a dream that he is chasing. 

Perez’s music name is Babii Ahpe. Perez is a young music artist that attends Greeley West High School. Perez has always listened to music since he was a child. “Ever since I was little, I’ve loved music and no matter what I was doing I was always listening to music.”

Perez said he has many role models in the music industry.  “Other west coast artists inspired me to come up with it,” Perez said. 

“My biggest inspiration for making music has to be yatta.” 

Asking him what got him into music he said, “After years of learning and engineering music for other artists I decided to start my own thing.” Not most prefer to do that at such a young age and would rather just be a producer of music. 

Perez not only writes his own lyrics and makes the song, he also produces his own music. The only thing that he does not do is get his own beats. Instead he has his own personal producers.

Perez’s  first song that he produced is called “Block Bending” which was published on all platforms. All platforms that his music is released on is Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, YouTube, Instagram Music, and TikTok.

Talking to him and asking him what his longest song he wrote he said “‘Project Of The Mob’ took the longest because it was my first time messing with new plug ins and trying to get more depth with my lyrics.”
