As Greeley West’s year comes to a close, it’s time for some of the annual traditions to take place. After SATs, Student Council will be throwing their annual Peach Fuzz Volleyball Tournament in the Greeley West gym. It takes place after the SATs on April 17. Students can still sign up for it to compete against all other grades.
Committee member Daniel Sandoval is one of the students in charge of organizing the tournament. He said, “You do not need to be eligible to sign up but you do need to bring a couple of things. At the window where Mrs. Piacenza is but it won’t be, it will be Mrs. Arnegard but you’ll need to bring your money, registration, and waiver to all compete in the volleyball tournament here.”
Mrs. Kingman A peach fuzz Volleyball player for the staff side, said “ I have high hopes we will take it all the way and take home the trophy over everybody else.” She had some thoughts about the opposing teams and said “ I think the group who are gonna give us the toughest challenge will be the seniors, they can give us a run for our money.”
Daniel Segura a senior said, “ I think this is a fun opportunity to show out for our class and overall fun way to end the year on a good note.”
Come out and have a fun time and compete against your peers, have a good time, win the trophy for your class and hold bosting rights over your peers.
