Greeley West High School’s Booster Club will be hosting a car show this summer to raise funds for Spartan activities and teams. In addition, there will also be a craft fair for others that are not interested into cars. This will be the first-ever car show open to the public at the school.
The car show will free admission, but it will cost $35 to show a vehicle. Craft vendors and food truck vendors will have a $50 fee to participate.
The shows will be taking place in the Greeley West High School 35th Avenue parking lot. The date of the event is June 15th from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The event has been sponsored by many different companies. There are a total of 10 sponsors: Thompson Dental, Alpine Flats, UNI Designs, M&O Tires, Backbone Fiber, Greeley Truck & Auto, 5 Star Coatings LLC, Northern Colorado Driveline, and Metal Industries.
The vendors for the event will be La Bestica, Sweet Summer Memories, El Mero Mero, Maui Wowi, The BrickTop Grill, and El Sazon Mexicano. The vendors will get 2 parking spaces for their vehicle and tailgate and for an extra vehicle it will be $25 more.
There are many different award categories for people to win. The categories are Best Classic Car, Best Classic Truck, Best Hot Rod, Best Import Vehicle, Best Motorcycle, Best Paint Job, Best Custom Vehicle, Best Interior, People’s Choice, and Judge’s choice.
The judges have not been released, but there will be one special judge that will be seen and announced the day of. All the judges will come from different car industries in the community.
