As the fall semester wraps up IB courses are up and finishing their Internal Assessments(IA). In IB Sports and Exercise Health Science, this last week was the final time to do tweaks and turn in their rough drafts. Some students were perfectly on time and maybe others were rushing to finish.
Senior Jovon Torres felt good and ready to turn in his IA. He was fixing some final touch ups before turning it in but succeeded. “I’m very confident with my work and experiment. I think I’m going to do perfectly fine,” Torres stated. Since the IA is a part of the IB test later this school year, this rough draft is very important to be done and understood so their final product is as good as it can be.
But while many students were ticking down the end of the semester, some students may have blanked the whole assignment. Time management was a vital thing for this IA, Mr. Ryan Pace had set due dates for each part of the project, a guideline for the process. But some students didn’t take advantage of it. Senior Sebastian Villalobos Perez wasn’t too far behind in the schedule. But he said that he needed to fix his information and then it’d be complete. “My IA will come out to be pretty good, I’m a little behind on one thing and once I finish it I’ll be perfect.” Villalobos Perez stated.
