On Thursday, September 1, 2016 the local business Crepes’N’Creams closed their doors to the Greeley community for good. The business was well known to Greeley West High School students, as it’s just across the street from the school, near Eileen’s Colossal Cookies. The shop posted a sign on their door informing the community, along with the statement, “It has been a pleasure serving all of you and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.”

Although the store itself has closed from its two year run, not all hope is gone for people who loved to eat there and support the business. Crepes’N’Creams will be continuing as a food truck, serving the community in a mobile form. The business has not made any comment on exactly when their food truck will be active, but the loss of the main store is a blow to the community of both students and the rest of Greeley.

Students will remember the savory and sweet crepe combination they could make during lunch, but Crepes’N’Creams also left students with a memory of coming up with a new and interesting flavor combination for ice cream, which the Crepes’N’Creams owners challenged Greeley West to do in the 2014-2015 school year.
