The Greeley West girls volleyball team had their “Pink Out” night against Fossil Ridge earlier this week
Even though they had another tough loss, they still managed to keep their heads high at the end of the night by earning some money and helping out a Greeley West family.

Layton Shipp, a varsity football player at Greeley West loves his mother just like every kid should. But his mom has a different story. Terri Shipp was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2013 and battled so hard against it until February of 2014 and receive the outstanding news that she beat the cancer.

Then, this past summer, she received the unfortunate news that she was diagnosed again with breast cancer again. The volleyball team wanted to share their Spartan Pride with the Shipp family by changing up their Pink Out Night turning into a fundraiser for Terri. Pink Out Night was successful and the team raised 300 dollars.

Despite the health struggles, Terri always finds a way to support her youngest son Layton and even in her worst conditions, she still loves life and is so happy to be making memories with her family.
