On Wednesday, Greeley West High School hosted the Front Range League meeting for winter sports. This meeting involved all head coaches talking about changes and criteria for this winter season.  As well on have their say on issues they do not agree with.

This is not an official CHSSA activity, yet all leagues hold these meetings at various times and locations.  The focus of the meetings are to discuss new rules that will be applied or rules they planning on focusing more on. The whole point of the meeting is to make sure every head coach in the league is on the same page before the competitions begin.

If league coaches want changes to occur in how the league manages its rules, voting will take place.  The league can then take those suggestions back to the athletic directors who will vote on it to take to CHSAA.

“This meeting occurs every year for all fall, winter, and spring sports,” said West athletic director Mr. Ken Denning.
