On Sunday, the Greeley-Evans School District, Aims Community College, the University of Northern Colorado and many other sponsors helped students apply for colleges and fill out FASFA and other school applications at Island Grove Park from 1-3 p.m.

College Goal Sunday was a free event to help students around the Greeley community.

A Spanish speaking representative was available. “Greeley has had the most involvement with students and community at College Sunday in Colorado, since it is hosted at Island Grove, its accessible to everyone,” said Ms. Kelly Stephens, one of the counselors at Greeley West.

At the event food and drinks were provided as well with the Bronco game being televised.  Drawing for scholarships were held throughout the day. For families that had toddlers, a day care area was provided. Scholarship and grants were presented as well.
