Personal project deadline looms

The MYP sophomores have been working on their personal projects for about a year now. That means it is almost time for them to be complete and turned in. The personal projects will be graded in their English classes.

This year they have changed a lot about the personal project to get kids more on track to finish it and make it very good. The students are scheduled to complete and turn in certain parts of the project as checkpoints. They also have advisors who are different West teachers. They talk to advisers for help with their project and the teachers help the students make their project better.

The Personal Project is due on December 7, which is when they have a gallery at night for the public to view projects. The students present them for the whole night. That will be the end of the personal project for them.

After talking to Jackson Morgan he said, “I am very glad the project is almost over. It has been a lot of work. I’ve learned a lot but I’m ready for it to be over.”
