Ag kids volunteer to foster puppies

The Greeley West agriculture program will have another first this school year: they will be fostering puppies.

Students will foster the puppies as part of their animal behavior unit. “It teaches the students to have more hands on experience,” FFA president Aly Tovar said.

The puppies will arrive after Christmas break and come from the Human Society of Greeley. The litter of puppies will be shared by students, who will bring the puppies to exchange with other classmates each day.

They will also work on training the puppies for their forever home.
