For the second-straight year, the Weld County Bright Futures Program will hand out thousands of dollars. This program will help students futher their education.  Businesses and residents will receive a property tax. This will benefit our workforce on being better trained and skilled.

Bright Futures is a tuition assistance for Weld County residents who graduate high school since 2016.  This is funded by tax payers who receive tax incentive credits.

The scholarship promises $3000 per year for higher educationto and high school student in Weld County. Even with all the fundasing, revenue is barely keeping pace with tuition costs. The Bright Futures Program is looking for more donations in the coming years.

Since having the issue of money, the program plans to approach bigger donors and including businesses.  All seniors apply for the scholar since it is applicable to everyone. This scholarship is able to apllied to higher edcuation for up to 10 years after gradution.
