As America is struggling to become united, like we should be, people are fighting more than ever before. A very popular and very violent protest happened in Charlottesville, Virginia, and it is causing major chaos. This protest is about racism, freedom of speech, and violence. There were white supremacists at the rallies and they were expressing their thoughts a little too much, resulting in death and vandalism.

Some people believe that whites are racist, some believe blacks are, and some believe that everything between those are racist. That is not how America should work. People can have their thoughts and believe what they want to believe, but when it comes to people dying and damage being done, the line should be drawn.

The white supremacist rally is wrong. It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like, or any of that, you are equal. These white supremacist can believe they are better than everyone and say they are, but when it comes down to what is real, they need to realize that we are all Americans and we need to be united. Not only has this rally happened but the Black Live’s Matter protests have also gone way too far. Protesting and believing what you want to is okay, but when it is taken too far is when it needs to stop.

America has been one of the greatest country in the world and today, we are not. Americans need to set aside the racism and realize that we are all Americans. It doesn’t matter what side you fall down, you should fall down to be an American. If you don’t want to be an American, that’s the real problem.
