On Saturday September 16, FFA held not one, but three fundraising events to raise money for their trip to the national convention.

On October 21, the FFA officers and the Envirotthon group will be traveling across the south to Indianapolis, Indiana. Not only is the trip to the convention but also includes many stops at interesting landmarks.

At the sale, everything from furniture to clothing that had been donated was up for purchase. Like most garage sales, the sale contained all sorts of miscellaneous objects. According to junior Ashley Adamson, the weirdest donation was a, “weird, smelly couch.”

The other two events were a barbeque and petting zoo at Tractor Supply and Ag Fest. Mr. Kelly Longacre felt it was, “absolutely crazy to host three events,” on the same day.

All the funds earned from the garage sale will be used to pay for the gas on the road trip down to the convention. The trip is an exciting opportunity for any FFA enthusiast, including Adamson stating that she, “has been waiting my entire high school life for this trip.”
