It’s baaaaa-ck – Saturday school returns

Connor Fagan, Staff Writer

Saturday school has returned to help students who are having issues with their grades. Saturday school had been offered in the past years but is being encouraged to students more than ever. As of now, it is only offered to freshmen and is run by Dr. Suzette Luster.

Freshmen are offered Saturday school because they are failing two or more classes because it gives them a chance to get the work done that is causing them to fail.

Luster is in charge of Saturday school and gave her motive for it and goal of the whole program: “The goal is to become more strategic for Saturday school and make it not about volume of students and more based on the subject that the student is struggling with or lacking interest in,” Luster said.

Saturday school is next on November 18th and then December 9th.
