While the freshman class participated in a game show about car safety, Greeley West sophomores, juniors and seniors packed the gym for the second annual Prom Runway Show. The show was organized and run by members of the Greeley West FIDM Fashion Club.

The show consisted of 10 Girls and five boys dressed as if they were spend the night dancing away at Prom. The multiple dresses and suits were provided by Abeille Bridal and prom shop out of Loveland, Colorado. The shop’s owner, Lauren Tanner worked with the Fashion Club to get all of the student models in gowns and tuxes to model for the Greeley West Student Body.

As music blared out of the speakers in the gym, one couple at a time walked down the runway made up of balloons showing of their dresses and suits. Some of the couples decided to dance their way down the runway as some made the decision to just simply walk down and back.

It was senior Caycee Hardesty’s second time walking down the runway and she stated, “We always try to find ways to try to make the show fun and entertaining.”

Hardesty continued to say, “I always have a fun time getting dressed up and hanging out with my friends throughout the show.”
Throughout the event, junior AVID teachers Ms. Lea Sanford and Ms. Cynthia Stump drew raffle tickets and the winners received gift certificates and cookies from Eileens.

Prom will be held on Saturday April 14. The junior class also announced the theme for this year’s dance: Tinsletown. Tinsletown will harken back to the old days of Hollywood.
