Technology upgrades will come to West this summer

Last Monday, the board of education for District 6 committed to investing over $1.7 million dollars for new technology at Greeley West, Greeley Central, and Northridge High School.

The $1.7 million dollars is from the Mill Levy Override which was voted on by taxpayers last November.

High schools will be receiving HP Chromebooks, Google Licenses, HP Desktops, HP Laptops, and HP Monitors and Accessories. West should be seeing device preparation from May-June and hopefully delivery of the devices soon after.
The hope for this new technology is to have more online learning in classrooms and at home. With more and more technology developing everyday there are several resources online that can help with learning/teaching in schools.

Assistant Superintendent for Academic Achievement, Stacie Datteri, stated, ā€œIā€™m very grateful to our voters for passing the override that allows us to be able to purchase much needed technology in two of our comprehensive high schools to support learning.ā€
