West students celebrate new coffee shop

One of the most popular privately-owned coffee shops in the country is becoming a local establishment in Greeley. Dutch Bros currently has locations in Windsor, Loveland, and Fort Collins, but that has not stopped Greeley West students from getting their fix of caffeine.

Many students go out of their way to drive for their coffee.

Dutch Bros lives by three main core values: one cannot be sacrificed for another, all must work together, and it’s a relationship business.

These values are shared by Greeley West seniors Reese Tilton and Kimberly Alvizo, who are both interested in working there.

“I like their vibe and I’m addicted to coffee,” said Tilton.

Alvizo said something similar. “They have a friendly environment and chill vibe and they are always happy to serve you,” Alvizo said.

Since the Windsor location is popular for people that live in Greeley, having it local will create a boom for the business, especially with its location near Centerplace Drive splitting the distance between University Schools, Union Colony, and Greeley West.

Dutch Bros is very involved with local communities. They have also donated two million dollars to research for Muscular Dystrophy since they began operations in the 1990s.
