On November 4, the Greeley West Fashion club went to The Denver Fashion Week Show.  On this particular night, the theme was kids/teens, which gave kids and teens the opportunity to model the clothing line created by an 18-year old.

The show took place in downtown Denver at Lumenati.  There were two different shows that were being help on Sunday, the first show started at 3 p.m. and ended at 6 p.m. The designers were Cherry Creek Dance, Pleiades Designs, Peach and Penny, Beauty Underground Kids, and Shape Streetwear. These designers are all local out of Denver. The second part of the show started at 6 p.m. and ended at 10 p.m. The designers shown during this time was, Topping Designs, Rachel Marie Hurst, Steve Sells, Alison Nicole, Tyne Hall, and Mondo Guerra.

Senior Kimberly Alivzo is involved in Fashion Club and attended the show held on Sunday. “It was a good bonding experience for the club to see all the different type of designs,” Alvizo said.

The Denver Fashion week is supported by a few colleges in Denver including Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and Department of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University. The students at these colleges help set up the event.

This is not the only fashion show the club will get a chance to see.  The club is also heading to Los Angles in April to see the Fashion Institute Show which the students attending the school get the chance to show off their designs.
