The golf team will be finishing up their season this week after many tough matches and much improvement. These golfers have worked hard and have put their minds to their craft in order to better themselves. One golfer, Will Broderius describes his experiences as a second year golfer.

“I made some big improvements from last season, but there are still a lot of areas I can improve on,” Broderius stated. He has been working hard at making sure his game has been getting a lot better. “I want to make it to state next year,” Broderius said.

This year the golf team got two new coaches, Mr. Rudi Danford and Mr. AJ Johnson. Both coaches have years of golf experience and Danford’s son is even on the PGA tour. “Both coaches were very helpful and nice towards the players. They helped me improve my game a lot this season,” Broderius said.

Broderius is looking forward to next season with the goals of state in his mind. He has been motivated ever since his freshman year as he would tell all of his friends and coaches about his dreams. Broderius is also a baseball player for West and is a successful student. Broderius is able to keep up with all of his school work and plays two sports as well.
