LULAC tries to organize club structure in virtual world

Greeley West’s move to remote learning this week left some people in a panic and ended some extra-curricular activities.  But it was business as usual for LULAC, who had an online meeting on Wednesday.

The LULAC club discussed issues in how they will be able to fundraise or do volunteer work for the remainder of 2020 or however long remote learning continues.   In the meeting the club talked about still supporting the food bank and discussed creating signs and posts at the GWHS fence to advertise their roles.

They also started to create a calendar for the remainder of the year of activities they will do. Mrs. Annette Quintana  talked to the club about people who are interested in becoming President, Vice President, and secretary of the organization.

The other issue they tired to settle was communication with each other. They will communicate with one another through emails to send important information using the Remind app to send quicker notifications.

LULAC will continue to meet through the pandemic to keep in touch with one another, even during remote learning.
