Yesterday the Greeley West boys swim team dominated in a dual meet against Monarch with a final score of 111 to 69. The Spartans had yet another successful meet with wins in nearly every event including all three relays and diving.

The only divers in the meet were Greeley West divers Bennett Mueller, and Gavin Finning who placed first and second respectively.

Other standout performances came from senior, Bryce Fehringer, taking first in the 200 IM and 100 fly, and senior Severn Young who took second in the 100 fly.

Following the 100 fly, Greeley West junior, Hailey Pasirb, waited at the end of Fehringer’s lane with a a poster asking “will you fly to prom with me?” After his race Fehringer was pleasantly surprised and accepted the “promposal.”

The Spartans plan on continuing  to work hard in the pool in anticipation of the upcoming state meet.
