This school year there is a student teacher in the building who is teaching with Mr. Steve Swenson named  Mr. Ryan Pace.

Pace is also a tennis coach for the Greeley West Spartans, and he has been coaching for West for seven years. He stated, “I love it!” when asked how he likes to coach tennis.

Pace was a graduate from Greeley West in 2006 where he played tennis all four years.

Pace expressed, “I love teaching because I love seeing the improvement of the students.”

Pace is teaching Earth Science as well as Biology.

Freshman Ethan Turnbeaugh said, “He’s really good. He’s one of the best student teachers I’ve ever had.”

Pace has a great relationship with all of his students including another freshman Bethany Mock. Mock said, “He’s a really nice guy and really cool. Mr. Pace is really helpful; earlier today he helped take me to counselor’s office.”
