Greeley West volleyball fell to 4-6 overall after last night’s match again the Fort Collins Lambkins. The Spartans were swept in three sets, 25-17, 25-11, 25-15. The Spartans have lost three straight, after coming off a home opening win over Horizon.

The Spartan volleyball team sports a seven senior squad which can fill a whole rotation, but were missing a vital part of their offense yet again this week. With the absence of Ryan Maddera the Spartans lack a massive component to their offense. Ryan Leads the team in kills with 70 with the next closest (Ashtyn Egan) has 17.

Senior, Ashtyn Egan when asked about the game repeatedly stated, “We’re getting better.”

Hopefully for the Spartans they continue to improve and push for a playoff spot, which hasn’t happened in the past five years.

The Spartans look to turn their bad fortune around by putting up a win over Legacy on Monday.
