Country duo wins Dancing with the Teachers

The 2016 Dancing with the teachers was a very successful event. The whole theatre was filled with students, teachers, and parents. Every teacher that was dancing did a great job and it was a lot of fun to watch.
The top three dancers were Peyton Book and Mr. Ryan Allen, Enmanuel Rodriguez and Mrs. Kim Zulauf, and Cassie Bradshaw and Mr. Tom Nugent. The winner was Bradshaw and Nugent who did a country dance.
Nugent’s footwork was amazing and their chemistry is what led them to victory. Zulauf and Rodriguez finished second and they danced to a Justin Timberlake song.
Rodriguez was the first boy to ever compete in this show and he most definitely shocked a lot of people by how good they did.
Bradshaw said, “I was very surprised I won, this is my first year on the Poms team and I wasn’t expecting to win at all.”
Bradshaw is a junior at West and she is doing a great job with the Poms team. Bradhsaw also had a great help with having Nugent as her dance partner because this is his second year winning it. Bradshaw said, “He was great to work with, he made it a lot of fun and he did a great job.”
