Fashion Club will be travelling again this school year. Sponsors Ms. Annette Quintana and Ms. Susan Eastin are planning the club’s year out, which will include the club’s most anticipated trip to New York City in 2024. Before the big trip, Quintana and Eastin have a few other trips planned, one being a trip to a cultural fashion runway in Denver.
The club’s start-up on September 14 brought back many familiar faces to Fashion Club, as well as new faces to the welcoming roster. Fashion club welcomes all new and experienced members. Many students are excited to have another fun year with Quintana and Eastin, and of course the fellow students to make the year more enjoyable.
“This year, first we have plans to go to a runway called “Cultural Runway” in Denver for the first field trip because I think it’ll be really relevant to the different cultures that we have in our school,” Quintana said. “This past school year we went to New York in the Spring. This coming year, 2024, we plan on going in the Fall so there’s more opportunity for fundraisers and it gives everyone a chance to prepare.”
Outside of the exciting trips the club associates itself with, Quintana also wanted to comment that, “The club really helps with those students who want to go to college with a focus of fashion and a goal in mind. It’s really exciting to see one of our students model for a runway, which happened last year as well.”
A final comment from Quintana, wanting Greeley West to know that, “Anyone is welcome, always. That includes you gentlemen.”
For those debating on joining fashion club, especially those who plan on joining the fashion field, take that shot!
