The Fashion Club students at Greeley West are still talking about how much fun they had in New York City last week.
Junior student Meh Meh, a student in the Fashion Club said, “The trip was very cool and inspiring to see all the amazing things and monuments. I’m super grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this trip.”
The Fashion Club is an organization where students who are passionate and interested in the fashion industry can collaborate and contribute their amazing, creative ideas they have. The Fashion Club spends its time in meetings, making projects, and fashion galleries.
This trip was the highlight of the fashion club’s year. It gave students the opportunity to travel and inspired them to become great learners of the fashion industry.
Teacher and club sponsor Sadie Mcgowin said, “My favorite part of the trip was going to M&S Schmalberg. It’s the last company in the United States to make fabric flowers, so it was a really awesome experience overall.’’
The Fashion Club is a great place to be if you are at all interested in being committed to a friendly, fashion sense group of students. Fashion Club welcomes all new and experienced members. Many students are excited to have another fun year with McGowin and Ms. Susan Eastin.
Eastin, who has beeen on many of these trips in her career, is always happy to see students who enjoy the experience. “I love doing this trip every other year. The students loved every place we visited and I’m glad they enjoyed the trip they worked so hard to go on,” Eastin said.
